| Volunteer opportunities for seniors can be found in almost any community. Seniors can be mentors and tutors in school systems, volunteer to be part of the boards governing communities, work at libraries, animal shelters and nursing homes, assist in hospitals and community centers, and help at local food pantries or recycling centers.
Most nonprofits have numerous volunteer opportunities that can utilize many different skills.
